Second placed Tottenham Hotspur can cut the gap on premier league leaders Chelsea to just four points with a fourth successive victory over Manchester City on Saturday.
Manchester City lead the EPL table by four points after winning against Swansea on September 24 but now find themselves 10 points off Chelsea.
This has led to Pep Guardiola coming in for some criticism following their 4-0 defeat at Everton last weekend. That defeat was City's fourth in their last eight Premier League games.
However, a victory over Spurs would lift them level on points with Mauricio Pochettino's men, who are on a great run of form.
Tottenham have won their last six Premier League games, including beating Chelsea 2-0 earlier this month.
The last time Spurs won seven league games in a row was way back in 1967.

Despite being rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, an unpredecented three points at Anfield would lift them outside the relegation zone if Sunderland and Crystal Palace lose.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Nathaniel Clyne are expected to take part in this EPL encounter. Both players returned to training on Friday after muscle and rib injuries respectively. Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been grabbing the headlines, scoring 13 goals in his last 13 games, the United defence have provided a solid platform for their attackers to shine as they have not conceded more than one goal in any of the last 16 games in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Stoke are unbeaten in their last three home league games against United (2WINS 1DRAW) and have kept three clean sheets in their last four matches at the Bet365 Stadium.

Bojan Krkic will return to the Stoke squad for Saturday's clash. The Spaniard, who has been linked with a move away from the club in January, has recovered from the rib problem that ruled him out of last weekend's win over Sunderland.
