Saturday EPL Matches Preview

Man City vs Tottenham

Second placed Tottenham Hotspur can cut the gap on premier league leaders Chelsea to just four points with a fourth successive victory over Manchester City on Saturday.
Manchester City lead the EPL table by four points after winning against Swansea on September 24 but now find themselves 10 points off Chelsea.
This has led to Pep Guardiola coming in for some criticism following their 4-0 defeat at Everton last weekend. That defeat was City's fourth in their last eight Premier League games.
However, a victory over Spurs would lift them level on points with Mauricio Pochettino's men, who are on a great run of form.

Tottenham have won their last six Premier League games, including beating Chelsea 2-0 earlier this month.
The last time Spurs won seven league games in a row was way back in 1967.

Team news

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus will be available for City after his £27m move from Palmeiras went through in time.
Fernando could return after injury but fellow midfielder Fernandinho remains suspended. Jan Vertonghen is out with an Ankle injury. The Belgian international might be out for up to six weeks.

PREDICTION:- 1-1 (DRAW)

Liverpool vs Swansea

Premier League giants Liverpool will look to extend their unbeaten home record to 26 matches as relegation-threatened Swansea City visit Anfield on Saturday.
Despite their strong record at home, Liverpool's win at Plymouth in the FA Cup on Wednesday was their first win in five games in all competitions. Liverpool head into this wweekend's encouter seven points behind league leaders Chelsea.
Swansea suffered a 4-0 loss to Arsenal in last weekend, meaning they have lost 14 of their last 20 league games.
Despite being rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, an unpredecented three points at Anfield would lift them outside the relegation zone if Sunderland and Crystal Palace lose.

Team news

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Nathaniel Clyne are expected to take part in this EPL encounter. Both players returned to training on Friday after muscle and rib injuries respectively. Jurgen Klopp will restore his big names as he fields his first-choice line-up following the FA Cup replay win over Plymouth and that could mean a first league start since November 26 for Philippe Coutinho.
Swansea new boys Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll are available, but Luciano Narsingh's debut is set to be delayed again as the Dutch winger has yet to recover from a calf problem.
Leon Britton could also miss out with an unspecified injury, while Neil Taylor is absent once more with a fractured cheekbone.

PREDICTION:- 3-0 (LIVERPOOL WIN)

Manchester United travel to Stoke City on Saturday looking to stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to 17 games.
United's 1-1 draw with Liverpool last weekend ended a run of six straight wins in the Premier League - a run of results which has catapulted Jose Mourinho's men back into the top-four mix. Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been grabbing the headlines, scoring 13 goals in his last 13 games, the United defence have provided a solid platform for their attackers to shine as they have not conceded more than one goal in any of the last 16 games in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Stoke are unbeaten in their last three home league games against United (2WINS 1DRAW) and have kept three clean sheets in their last four matches at the Bet365 Stadium.

Team News

Bojan Krkic will return to the Stoke squad for Saturday's clash. The Spaniard, who has been linked with a move away from the club in January, has recovered from the rib problem that ruled him out of last weekend's win over Sunderland.
Jonathan Walters, Geoff Cameron, Jack Butland and Stephen Ireland remain on the sidelines while Ramadan Sobhi, Wilfried Bony and Mame Biram Diouf are away on Africa Cup of Nations duty.
Mourinho said United have "little problems" ahead of the game but no major injury concerns.
Eric Bailly is unavailable while on international duty with Ivory Coast, but Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo came through last week's clash with Liverpool fine after returning from injury. Luke Shaw could also be set for a recall to the starting XI after returning to fitness.

PREDICTION:- 1-2(MAN UTD WIN)
