Former Real Madrid star player, Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to join Juventus after spending nine years in the former club. The Portuguese forward signed a deal with Juventus club worth £500,000 a week with a transfer of €100 million. This is the highest fee ever paid for a player over 30-year-old, and highest paid by an Italian club.
The 33-year-old forward joined Real Madrid in 2009 with a world record transfer fee at that time -£80 million ( €94 million). At least 80,000 fans attended his presentation at Santiago Bernabeu exceeding Diego Maradona's 25-year record of 75,000 fans at Napoli.
During his nine years at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo broke many records such as becoming Los Blancos all-time top scorer with 451 goals in 438 games. Also, Ronaldo won the Champions League and Ballon D'or four times. However, if Juventus becomes successful this season in the Serie A league, Ronaldo will become the first player to win League title in England, Spain and Italy.
