Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal (4 goals, and one missed penalty)
Cristiano Ronaldo is undeniably one of the best forwards in the World, and we could have wished to see him score more goals in the tournament but unfortunately, Portugal has been knocked out of the World Cup after they lost to Uruguay. The 33-year-old forward could have added to his tally but he missed a penalty against Iran.
Kylian Mbappe- France ( 4 goals so far)
The 19-year-old forward played a focal role for France against Argentina as he scored twice and scored once against Peru. Though, this is his first time playing on an international stage Mbappe does not fail to prove himself.
He also made World Cup history to become the youngest French goalscorer at 19, and the second youngest player to score two goals in a World Cup match after Pelé in 1958. In a press conference, Mbappe stated:

Edinson Cavani - Uruguay (3 goals so far)
The Paris Saint-Germain striker has scored twice in this World Cup against Portugal. Cavani has scored 45 times for his country from 105 appearances. After failing to score in the first two games, the 31-year-old striker finally scored a goal against Russia and a brace against Portugal.
