Players to Watch out for in Women's World Cup 2019

Asisat Oshoala

The Nigerian forward is the youngest player on this list. The 24-year-old player has made 17 international appearances with 11 goals. Asisat won both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2014. The Barcelona forward is also a three time African Women's Footballer of the year. In 2017, the Nigerian forward was named the Top Scorer in the Chinese Women's Super League while playing for Dalian Quanjian F.C.

Samantha Kerr

The Australian forward has scored 5 goals in 3 matches in this World Cup and 80 international appearances with 36 goals. Samantha was awarded the PFA Women's Footballer of the Year in 2013, 2017, 2018 and also the Best International Women's Soccer Player ESPY Awards in 2018. The 33-year-old forward has been named FIFA World Player of the Year six times, and she is regarded as the female Pele. In 2019, the Brazilian became the first ever person (either male or female) to score at five different FIFA World Cup tournaments. Marta has made 146 appearances with 107 goals for her country.
