Mkhitaryan could be back to face Atletico in Europa League clash

Mkhitaryan signed for Arsenal in a swap deal involving the transfer of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United in the January transfer window. 

Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be fit to play against Atletico Madrid in the Europa semi-final first leg match at the Emirates Stadium. He was expected to be out for a longer period after sustaining an injury against CSKA Moscow in the previous round of the same competition. 
    "Mhkitaryan is running again, he has to progress in the next three or four days,"
 he said in his weekly pre-match press conference. "Possibly (fit for) Thursday, that is the earliiest."

 He also played down speculation over his future at the Emirates,with former Gunners Midfielder Patrick Vieira linked with the Manager's job.
 He added: "My personal situation is not so much my worry at the moment. My worry is to transform the season into a success."


Arsenal are 14 points adrift of fourth placed and neighbourhood rivals Tottenham Hotspur int he Premier League and face West Ham at home on Sunday.
